SETION alternative: Serpier and SETION compared
Serpier makes this page. Every fact about SETION comes from SETION's own website, and the facts on this page were last checked on . Sources are listed at the end.
SETION is a Danish SEO service where SETION does the work for you, including link building. Serpier is a platform where you choose the sites for your placements yourself and can track how AI assistants mention your brand.
Pick Serpier if you want to choose the sites you buy from and track AI visibility in one account. Stay with SETION if you want a team to do the SEO work for a set monthly budget, or a fixed price for a package of links.
As of 28 October 2026, the SETION SEO subscription starts at 1,000 DKK a month (€133.78). Serpier charges per placement on any plan, including the free Serpier Light plan. Serpier Starter, an optional plan that adds AI visibility tracking, costs €199 a month billed monthly. The two companies sell different services, so the prices are not a like-for-like match.
Where Serpier is better
Buying a link is one step. Serpier also suggests which step to take next, and does it once you approve.
- Navi, Serpier's AI agent, reads your website, SEO performance, AI visibility and link monitoring, and suggests what to do next, each with why it is there: for example ordering a placement from a shortlist of publishers to work on a keyword sitting just off page one, or fixing robots.txt, llms.txt, the sitemap or meta tags.
- You click Hand over to Navi or I'll do it myself.
- Navi does the work, and you approve before anything is bought or changed. As your rankings, AI visibility and links change, new suggestions keep coming.
SETION's own pages describe part of this; see Task board and AI agent in the table, with its source.
- Serpier lets you choose the site for each placement. Serpier shows these details per site: Price, Domain Rating (DR), organic traffic, referring domains, relevance score, country, content language and category. SETION states its sites as: Setion's own private blog network (PBN); number of sites not stated; Danish and German sites.
- Serpier tracks AI visibility on a plan, for 100 prompts on Serpier Starter across ChatGPT plus 2 of your choice, run weekly. SETION does not state how many prompts it tracks. SETION does not state how often prompts run. SETION states for its GEO setup: Partly: a GEO project can include watching citations in AI Overviews and mentions on platforms such as Perplexity.
- Serpier sells placements for AI visibility: AI Publication: an article with no links or only nofollow links, for brand mentions that AI assistants pick up. SETION states for its GEO setup: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), a one-time setup on your own content and structure; placements on third-party media are not described.
- Serpier lets you order from an AI assistant. Serpier states MCP as: Yes. SETION does not state whether you can order from an AI assistant through MCP.
- Serpier also runs scheduled automations, such as a weekly summary. SETION does not state whether it runs scheduled automations.
Where SETION is better
- SETION does the work. SETION states for its SEO subscription: You pick any mix of title tags, meta descriptions, link building and on-page content. Serpier states that Navi, an AI agent, suggests what to fix, drafts pages and articles, runs scheduled automations, orders placements and drafts emails to publishers.
- SETION offers a longer trial. SETION states: 30-day free trial with a free SEO analysis (stated value 5,000 kr.) and SEO work worth 3,000 kr.. Serpier Starter has a 7-day free trial, card required.
- SETION publishes fixed prices for link packages. For SETION Basispakken, SETION states: Smallest listed link package: 5300 kr. excl. VAT (10 links); no separate deposit stated. For SETION Boostpakken, SETION states: Links are spread over 60 days. For SETION Premiumpakken, SETION states: Links are spread over 60 days.
- SETION states its lowest monthly budget: Lowest monthly budget: 1000 kr.. SETION states writing as: Included: Setion writes the link texts, and the price covers link text and one link

Method and what each row means
We read each company's own website: its pricing page, docs, help center, terms and announcements. Review sites, directories and articles about a company are never a source. Every value links to its source, with the date we checked it. Serpier's facts follow the same rule and come from Serpier's own website.
Plans sold by the month show a price a month. A price for something bought by the item or once shows its unit, for example per article or one-off, and is never turned into a monthly price. Prices exclude VAT, in the currency the company publishes. A price in another currency is also shown in EUR, at the ECB reference rate of 26 October 2026. Some companies show other prices or currencies depending on where the visitor is, so the page says which visitor the prices were shown to.
The shared units use one plan for each company: the entry plan we name for it, shown in its box above. If we name none, we use the cheapest plan with a published price above zero that tracks prompts. Only plans sold by the month count, at the monthly billing price when there is one. When the entry plan is an add-on, its price includes the plan it needs, because an add-on cannot be bought alone. Price per tracked prompt a month is the price ÷ prompts. Price per 1,000 AI answers a month is the price ÷ (prompts × assistants × runs a month) × 1,000, where a daily run counts as 30 runs a month and a weekly run as 4.33. When an input is not published, the page says Not enough public data instead of guessing.
Each value in the table is one of these, or the number or words the company uses:
- Yes:
- the company's own pages say the product has it.
- No:
